Review on ✈️ Enhanced Flight Experience: STARTRC Foldable Extended Landing Gear Leg Kit for DJI Mini 2/Mavic Mini Drone by Dre Fishburne

I have two DJI Mavic Minis. (don't ask me why I have two). And as with the entire Mavic series, one thing has always bothered me: how low to the ground the gimbal was. If you don't "catch" the device with your hand or place it on a flat, hard surface, you run the risk of jamming the gimbal and making mistakes or, worse, damaging the device. Hand fishing is dangerous for both you and the boat. One of you has a very good chance of getting hurt. Hard flat surfaces are not always easily accessible when you need to land. I've been following several social media platforms focused on UAVs and flying. I've seen several discussions about the STARTRC chassis for the Mini. Most reviews were positive. So what the heck. The price is very reasonable. So I bought two. I'm glad I did. First, they are light enough not to add weight to the ship. They then snap in and out very firmly, hold securely and are very rigid in use. When folded, they fit into a bag or kit with a ship very easily to avoid damage. Don't expect to leave them on the ship during transit. This is not the purpose of the design. The extra clearance is about an inch. It is not that much. But considering the size of the plane, that's actually quite a lot. Most importantly, it prevents the gimbal from touching the ground except in the most unacceptable landing conditions (e.g. tall grass, etc.). The addition of this landing gear did not affect my flight time. In any case, I do not reach the battery to the maximum. I never take such an unnecessary risk with my very expensive plane. (Have you seen how many people LOSE their planes to dead batteries? It's crazy!) Anyway. STARTRC has a very good product with this foldable snap-on chassis for the DJI Mavic Mini and Mini 2. Five stars.
