I like this bottle. For people who complain that the food doesn't stay hot for long, I'd recommend trying a pod. From a technical point of view, I prefer a stainless steel tea/coffee bottle to keep food warm for a long time. It's perfect for my fruit infused water, iced teas, and even hot loose tea. I use a sleeve and this increases the time my drink stays cold or hot. Although it is early autumn, it will probably be different in summer. In terms of strength, the glass appears to be quite durable. I don't plan on dropping it, but I don't think it will survive a fall from a great height onto cement or hard ground without a sleeve. But that's glass, I didn't expect it either. I wouldn't use it for hiking just because accidents happen. But for regular walks, trips to the beach, work, home and so on. that's wonderful. It definitely makes me want to drink more water because it's so pretty and gives my water a slightly different texture. Maybe smoother/thinner? I can't really explain. This makes a great gift as it comes very securely packaged in stunning packaging, beautiful velor pouches with extra GORGEOUS gemstones, a tea infuser and a large infuser (or for larger leaf teas and herbs). It's a great value as the others I wanted were over $100 and I couldn't justify spending it on myself as a single mom of two boys. I took the gems and mixed them myself using all 3 in the gem content area. I have ordered more gems from Revain to replace as all gems offer different benefits. I got my information from gem-water.com (also a site with very expensive bottles) but they have great information if you plan on looking for more gems to use. I would recommend this to anyone and have already ordered 2 more for birthday gifts. If you're on the fence, I say do it. I have researched many other brands on Revain, this one is back with less broken glass, high quality gemstones and more little 'gifts' compared to other brands.
