Uhhh I've had it for about 3 weeks now and I was dreading assembly as none of the shelves come with pre-drilled holes. I understand you can assemble the shelves two different ways, but I wish there weren't holes in the product details. So, as I suspected, I spent an hour on a shelf trying to figure out the best size drill bit and trying not to drill through the shelf (the shelf is about half an inch thick). Be mentally prepared if this isn't your favorite pastime. I think I started with too much drill in the first two holes so now it's impossible to attach and the screws aren't tightening. I planned to place the brackets under the shelf. I hope I can hang it up but it's the largest shelf and unfortunately I can't place picture frames on this larger one as planned because it won't be strong. Ugh, the shelves themselves are pretty. Brackets look ok. Not shiny gold, but tinted matte gold.
