o.k. BUT a bit dissapointing.

the good is not dealing with ice. fairly quiet unit.i thought a 37 quart would be a more compact cooler but this 37 quart is a bulky big monster. this thing has a learning curve for sure. the phone app is great though for making adjustments. whats quirky is the fact you have to remember which side is the smaller freezer side(right side). wish each side was indicated on the app. with a size icon or something.both sides work either as a fridge or freezer but i think most would use the smaller area for the freezer. the freezer works very slow ramping up.i learned this by trying to keep ice cream solid during an hour ride home.wasnt so good but better than a cooler bag i guess.the ice cream was soft and icy when i got home. tested the freezer at home after that. it takes forever to freeze a water bottle. i checked every 2 hours and its near 8hrs to freeze a water bottle solid. if using camping be prepared for dissapointment.my wife wasnt happy after talking her into getting this fridge/freezer. i also bought the pricey 170$ extra battery and it lasted only 5 hrs. the wife says what good is that. i had a solar charger but clouds were bad so learning how to keep it running for a weekend or more takes some creative planning. may need an extra deep cycle battery or more spare power bricks or big watt solar generator. i dont wanna put a second battery in my little suv so according to research i need to run the vehicle for like 1/2-45 min hour each day if i wanna not run down my vehicle battery. i dont have time for that so a solar generator is what im looking into. even if it looks clean be sure to spray and clean it out and dry by leaving lid open after every use. if you dont then when you open the lid the smell will knock you over. i think it has its place but a little learning curve and power consumption issues are a bit much for the average person i think. it does have an eco mode but dont expect miracles. it needs power. because its pretty big i probly should have just got the 48 quart because its only a little taller. i will use this for now but on the look for a better weekend trsvel fridge. a bit smaller and less power hungry.
