I've edited this review to keep up with my new review format, but the experience hasn't changed! professional reflector? no I can already feel the rim starting to flex in places and in ways it shouldn't, but I don't expect it to break anytime soon. The panels themselves are made of quality material and so far the case has endured many trips! As one commenter helpfully noted, "The reflector folds into a 16" diameter carrying case, which is about 3.5 inches (but can be shrunk to about half)." FUNCTION Does this thing work as it's supposed to? Absolutely. As said, it is made of good materials and still holds up great. I'm a professional photographer but I never exaggerate - I'm a big believer in the "little guy". The versatility of this little reflector is excellent - you can use it in almost any situation and I switch from silver to gold to translucent on the same shoot because we all know that changing the angle on the road can completely transform your lighting! Works very well as a backache if you have a helper to hold it! Overall Would I buy this again? Absolutely. The impeccable quality of this reflector at the price paid makes the cliché "best value for money" almost bearable! Of all my photographer friends none can single it out as a budget reflector, and a few people had it redone. It has stood the test of time (see updates below) and that's about all I can ask or expect. Equipment is still valid!
