When I opened the box I wasn't sure I could put my full weight on this mat but after a few tries I got really rubbed in and got a great one deep foot massage. I'm 55 years old, I go to the gym regularly, excellent health. But then my feet started interfering between the toes and heel sole. It started affecting my commute. So something had to be done. I found an oddly shaped rubber ball lying around and found it massaged my feet quite well just by rolling it on the floor. I later discovered that foot massage balls are actually a thing. It has worked well for several months! And it was free! But then I realized I needed a better massage and the ball couldn't reach the sides of my foot. I use this futzuki mat every day now, standing on it vigorously and rubbing my feet. It's very exciting. Leaves a pleasant tingling sensation. I use this in combination with the TheraFlow wooden foot massager - I think they work great together. Theraflow is not as good for standing as the futzuki, but better for sitting. Futsuki isn't as effective while seated - you really need to train with full body weight while standing to get the most benefit. So yeah, if there's something wrong with your feet, you can't take it. But if you can start slow and develop a tolerance for it, TRY IT. That's really good work.
