Improved Desk & Shelf Clocks

After buying all types of mechanical and digital clocks (both LED and LCD) and finding that they were all lacking in one way or another, I bought this one and stayed very satisfied. The screen is large, bright, high-contrast, optimally informative. When you first connect the power supply, the clock will take a few seconds to "boot up", then it will glow brightly with a COLOR welcome display typical of LEDs, followed by the day, date, month, year and AM or PM. big white letters on black background. Now, that's not necessarily a complaint, but the fact that they're loaded in COLOR makes me wonder if there might have been additional display options that would make this watch even more versatile and desirable. The ability to easily change the color to a different color for the night would be useful, especially since, contrary to some reviews here, there's no ambient light detection for auto-dimming, though it looks like a small translucent receptor on the bottom front of the device for that purpose without a sensor behind it. As a late riser, however, I am sometimes startled at 7:00 a.m. by the seemingly sudden increase in brightness in my bedroom, which seems to shine for hours. I suspect it could be a beta version, developed with possible firmware updates in mind, as there is a USB port on the back that says "USB Upgrade Only". This suits me as the functionality of this watch is far superior to the cheap products on the local market. I am happy to pay for any upgrades and would happily recommend this product to anyone.
