When you turn on these lights there is a very annoying high pitched squeak. The first time I put them on they tore in half. Luckily I had some extra connectors from another project I just finished. No connection to smart devices and the remote control they provide you with doesn't work. That being said, I'm at least happy with the colors I'm stuck on. I still can't get rid of the squeak. It's imperceptible when your TV's volume is cranked all the way up, but you have to keep that volume up to drown it out. I like that it plugs into the TV's USB socket to power it. Careful.
