I am impressed! (See Attention)

I'm impressed! This is quality work. The plastic is high quality and thick enough to be strong enough. It looks very solid and fits my radio perfectly. With the batteries installed, you can't tell it's a 3800mAh battery. Battery performance depends on the batteries used, but with the 3800mah NiMH batteries it lasted much longer than the 3800mah lithium battery I bought with the radio. By the way, that's why I bought this battery box. The Baofeng 3800mAh LiON battery I bought is completely empty after only 6 months of use. I thought I could do better with NiMH batteries. I highly recommend buying this instead of the standard 3800mAh battery. WARNING: A reviewer from For Realz pointed out a design flaw in this battery compartment that could result in personal injury. If the middle contact of the battery makes contact with the radio contact, there is a good chance that the battery pack will fail. There is only a small air gap between them. I used a piece of credit card plastic to isolate them, it's wedged in tight enough that it won't come out, but you can superglue it in place to be sure. This will solve this dangerous problem. It doesn't change my assessment, but it *is* something you need to know.
