Bought for my granddaughter who is a big Daniel Tiger fan. This step stool weighs less than the adult stool I also own. The material is not as dense as the adult version. However, the adult chair states that it is intended for an adult. The Fisher-Price Daniel Tiger stool is just as strong and durable in my opinion. Top notch construction! My little Daniel Tiger fan who is approaching potty age loves the stool and is already using it to climb onto the couch. It is left in the bathroom for normal use over time. I am perfectly happy with them. This is a full size adult step stool, with slightly thinner walls, lighter weight and easier for a child to lift and move. CONSISTENT! I would recommend it again and again!
