Safety First! on my review.
I used alcohol on the surface, to remove any residue, after cleaning well. As long as you allow the surface to dry completely, before applying, you can't ask for a better security strip! Unlike mats with the suction cups, these stay secure and clean easily! Plus they are transparent, and won't clash with any colors!I am extremely pleased with these, as the mat caused my grown child to slip and fall, hitting her shoulder and jaw on a ceramic tub side! (I tried these before taking a sledge hammer to that ceramic tub, and am so thankful they perform as described!)

- The scraper included in the package may not be effective in removing all air bubbles or wrinkles from the stickers, leaving them looking sloppy and uneven, and making them less effective in preventing slips
