Works fine but VERY HOT when charging a laptop that is also in use. I used an infrared thermometer that read 144 degrees Fahrenheit. UPDATE AND WARNING. As I suspected, this is a potentially dangerous fork. As I mentioned, the block/converter gets VERY hot, but lately it's been getting so hot I could smell burning. This happened when using a laptop that was charging its battery at the same time (it was at 25%). I used my infrared thermometer to take the temperature of the transducer again, but at this point the display read 'HI', meaning the temperature was outside the thermometer's measurable temperature range. I no longer trust this device and will not use it.
