The remote control works fine.
Used candles in sconces to bring some light into a dark hallway. Love the fact that you can change the flickering from your remote to a constant light, bright or dim, how long you want it on (2, 4, 6 hours). If you want to place the candles high up (like a tall bookshelf), you don't have to detach them to turn them on and off; Everything is possible via the remote control.
