My 8 year old wanted slippers like me and my husband. We both have the same slippers. We gave it to him on Christmas morning and ordered his normal size. Unfortunately, his heel hung over the edge. I ordered two sizes bigger. It's usually around a 13 but we sent them back and received a size 2. Now they fit him perfectly and are really good quality! They're big enough to wear for a while, but I wouldn't go any smaller. He wears them every day and likes to feel grown up in them.
