I bought these in-ear headphones after a lot of research. My previous headphones were Beats. They lasted nearly two years but were fully completed in that time. I think in-ear headphones should last more than two years when they cost $120. I use this Klipsch S4 the same way I use my Beats: walking 1-3 miles every day, occasionally at the gym when my wireless sports headset's battery is dead, and on airplanes when I'm carrying light objects and not taking my headphones with me me. with me.About me - I attach great importance to the quality of my music and consider myself a music lover. But I also pay attention to the price of in-ear headphones. I have expensive Sennheiser headphones when I really want to hear all the intricacies of the music. I also consider myself a music provider in the sense that I have a fundamental understanding of music production and quality that goes beyond the average listening experience. For example I did an internship at MTV in 2000-2001 (Making the Band), also have Sennheiser headphones for my office (HD 650, these are my "good guys"), Sony noise canceling headphones for airplanes, Motorola Bluetooth for jogging u gym, as well as Ludacris Souls in-ear headphones for when I need my ears to breathe. Anyway, after all my research online, I've decided to buy the $78 Klipsch S4s. The sound quality is 8/10. The music is great, as intended, but can't keep up with Sennheiser. The noise cancellation is great for in-ear headphones. When I wear them without music, they fit snugly and I can barely hear outside noise. When music plays, your surroundings are washed away. You hear almost nothing but music. Bass and treble where they should be (unlike Beats where the bass and treble are so heavy they sound like crap). Wires get tangled easily. That's a downside and my biggest complaint is that I used to have Beats. The monster is definitely not wired. The S4's cables don't get tangled easily. They keep their complicated shape. That means you can't even straighten the wire without pulling on it. The wires are not long. I give wires 3/10. This is my only complaint. Finally I bought them and they worked fine for almost 4 months. Then the copper input seemed to lose connection. i wasn't happy I didn't pay $80 for 4 months of use. I called Klipsch. They contacted me quickly even on the New Year holidays and immediately offered a replacement. Also, I felt like the person I was working with (Greg Niehaus) really cared about my issue. There was more than just copy/pasting emails and he offered his direct line of work when I needed to call. Customer service is important to me and Klipsch seems to be better than most!
