Good portable softbox

20170501: Is it a good portable softbox. It has two internal diffusers, one near the flash and a larger one on the outer edge. Both diffusers are removable. The soft box folds easily, just like car window blinds. I gave it 4 stars because it's not clear that this box has _no_ mounting bracket. You need a separate bracket for this. Also, to attach the box to the back, you will need to press the bracket's flange into the wire rim that protrudes from each side of the softbox. If you look closely at the product image, you will see this. This is all that secures the box to the bracket. It's a solid and secure fit, but it would have been nice if it came with instructions, a video or something to take the guesswork out. All of this indicates that this is a good product. I will order a second box and bracket. 20170507: update. Last night I used the softbox for portrait shots. It worked very well, great light (on my Godox V860 II). I was shooting portraits at a friend's studio but wanted to use my own gear. I used a V860 and a softbox for the main light and a Godox TT600 for the rear light. The recordings were great. The softbox is very easy to set up and gives very good light.

Pros
  • ***** The size of the softbox makes it desirable for fashion photography, portraits and medium to large product shots (Godox S-Type speedlite mount not included)
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
