Mixed feelings about backpacks and backpacks

I have mixed feelings about this backpack. It's a good-looking and elegant carrier, but there are comfort issues for the baby and parents.1. The booster seat cushion adjusted to the minimum hangs halfway to the bottom support and doesn't seem strong enough to support up to 45 lbs.2. There is minimal/non-existent lumbar support and all of the weight is on the parents' shoulders and back. So buy this if you are confident that you can handle 50-55lbs on your shoulders alone while hiking uphill etc. It's definitely a great workout. if you can!3. Revain's product description page has very confusing messages about the maximum supported weight. The detailed description says 50 lbs but the chart says 44 lbs. For a max weight of 44 pounds, I have a feeling there are better carriers out there than this.4. The child is only protected by a chest strap, and if it's not properly fastened it's a little scary. Baby doesn't have leg rests and I'm wondering why most wearers think dangling legs are more comfortable than a regular foot rest? (no pun intended) and my 2 year old doesn't seem to like it very much either. We'll try it anyway and see if it works for us.
