Doesn't work for heating, cooling or air quality

I bought this for my bearded dragon terrarium and it didn't work. I don't know if mine broke or what but it sat there for several days and it never lowered the humidity so I bought a different brand. Another reduced the humidity from 41% to 34% in 2 hours!
