About 5 minutes after installation, my screen froze and lines/multicolored noise started appearing on the screen (e.g. when your graphics card overheats or your computer crashes). After waiting a few minutes I unplugged it (just to make sure it wasn't a heat issue), plugged it back in and no games, it just beeped loudly the whole time and the hard drive light was blinking. I'm an IT guy so of course I've tried a few different things to troubleshoot, but in the end it looks like the motherboard is defective.
