This mount is very slim. So unobtrusive, in fact, that it's almost impossible to reach the TV to connect cables, so you'll need to connect everything (and I mean everything) before hanging the TV on the wall. It's so close to the wall that I had to install a recessed outlet just to accommodate the power plug for an inch-sized TV. Once you have it attached it looks great. This is a very secure mount, just make sure it's secured to a couple of wall studs. I used Spax Smart Lags instead of the hardware that came with it and everything works reliably.
