I ordered these 500cc O2 absorbers. cm and thought they were smaller than some 300cc absorbers. I had to use them to pack 5 gallon mylar bags of beans and rice. I started with a bag filled with about 4 gallons (25 pounds) of pinto beans. I bled out as much air as I could, then opened them up as they seemed unusually small and put in 10 O2 absorbers. If you do the math, that should have been overkill for 5000cc shocks (2000-2500cc should have sufficed). After 36 hours, the mylar bag should be very tight around the beans. This did not happen as the bag was still free. I've used other brands of beanbags of the same size with no problem. I don't recommend this for large storage jobs.
