Our white dining chairs are made from a leatherette-like material. As it got older, it got wrinkled and cracked when people sat on chairs. I liked the shape, comfort and look of the chairs and table. We didn't want to buy a new set (seemed like a waste of money if their structure was sound). Upholstery is expensive! Then I found these little gems. Honestly, despite excellent reviews, my expectations were low. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I originally ordered a beige set to be honest, but I didn't like the texture. It was very easy to swap out for this dark blue set you see in the photo. Very easy to put on chairs, soft, flexible. You can't even tell it's not a real chair! Also for those of you with kids two great words are machine washable. The photo was taken after I washed them on the gentle cycle (gently) after we did some chores and they were quite dirty. Their chairs look like they've seen better days or just like a change of scenery. ? BUY THIS!
