I've been trying to get into digital art for a while, didn't want to start with something too expensive if I couldn't handle it. , and I also wanted something small enough to carry around campus without much hassle. It fits perfectly in my laptop's front pocket, as does the pen and USB cable. I was concerned that the size would be an issue, but like any tablet, it takes some time to adjust. It was really easy to get used to. The program I used was Krita, and it really only took me to go through a few brush tools and tweak a few settings to find a digital style I was comfortable with. (which is also sold separately) was fairly common on this tablet. It fell off my bedroom nightstand and no matter what I did to fix it for days it didn't respond to sensitivity or pressure and when I tried to use it made a continuous streak. The stylus alone is $12, which isn't bad, but if you're clumsy like me, then you're piling a bunch of spare pens and you're in trouble. Add to that the cost of replacement batteries, which I didn't like because I'm insanely clumsy and forgetful, and if I forget to turn off the pen at night, it's dead in the morning. I don't have an accurate estimate of the battery life of this pen, but for the last pen I bought it was pretty good. At some point, the USB cable stopped working. Would I have to unplug and plug back in and cycle the pen on and off because it randomly disconnects for a split second and for some reason is interfering with the pen's pressure sensitivity? Yesterday was the last day I could use the tablet normally, at that point my computer didn't even recognize the USB. Today it doesn't work at all, and I'm still not entirely sure if it's a tablet malfunction (I may have dropped both the tablet and the pen many times) or the USB cable itself, which is a bulky one End did connect to the tablet, so I couldn't check if it works with a different USB. My computer handles other USB devices just fine, so I know this isn't a problem with my laptop. As far as I know, the tablet is technically still working properly, my USB is broken. I've been driving this little tablet for a few months and I'm sure it would have lasted longer had I been a little more careful. Overall it's great for beginners but I'm also really bad at my cute stuff, it's a wonderful tablet for the price and size and it really just depends on the programs you play around with and how careful you are. when you save it. If you're a clumsy guy like me who's also really worried about battery drain at times, consider another tablet, I'll buy another one if I'm typing lol. This one is still very good and useful for people who are careful! :)
