Received this today but have NOT used this item yet. or 15A*120V=1800W. There are also 20A sockets (which can also accept plugs with a maximum current rating of 15A) which, when using the rotated neutral contact (left in photo) on 20A plugs, provide 2400W of power. I'll update this if I get a chance to try it, although I might have an electrician come out and make sure I have fire extinguishers on hand first. UPDATE: I sent it back because I didn't want to risk a fire. Either the manufacturer lies about the performance, or its use is dangerous.
