The PTA2 was perfect for my application. I stumbled upon this BT receiver by accident and was amazed at how small it is. I decided to buy it and put it in a Harbor Freight weatherproof case to protect this receiver. I now use it on the patio at the cabin paired with a pair of dual outdoor speakers. The sound is pretty good and there's no way I can crank it up without annoying the neighbors! When I first started testing it, I couldn't help but imagine that it was probably every bit as good as the much larger and much more expensive receiver of 40 years ago. Strangley USB port is useless. It does not load. It does not allow you to connect a mobile device to play. This was spawned from a few other reviews but having figured out what I'm getting myself into this isn't a problem. Would definitely buy again.
