Perfect for a '98 Z3
Just put this in our Z3 after the original shifter fell apart. There was no separate orange adapter in the kit, but I don't think it's needed. If you look inside, you'll see a small bar holding the switch in place. Installation was just putting it on and making sure it installed properly. If it lasts a few years, it's worth the money.
