Perfect match for the V-Tech VT-1040 unidirectional microphone. It has proven best to turn the inside out halfway like a sock, and then gently pull the mic mesh screen over it. Basically, you need to protect the newly taped mic screen from springing back up if the mic is accidentally or intentionally dropped. We'll see how long this holds up, but so far everything is looking good with the three refurbished microphones.
