EXCELLENT QUALITY, EXCELLENT CONSTRUCTION. This fridge is ideal for small amounts of drinks, meals or other vegetables/snacks for short or long day trips. We have just used it for the first time, alternating 12v power in the car for 3-4 hours at a time and AC around the house (with the optional converter) during the day we traveled and used for short visits to family/ friends stopped. Everything stayed COLD all day and early evening; and the outside temperature from AZ was over 110 degrees that day. The size is perfect for our purpose. If you want to transport larger quantities, buy a larger Wagan cooler. I've seen negative reviews about the cooling capabilities. Basically a scam in my opinion. Don't treat this product badly just because you don't know how to use it properly. This is not a freezer! To be smart. Use the converter and "pre-chill" the Wagan cooler at home for an hour before taking it to your car. Add an ice pack or two from your fridge freezer. Only put in the drinks and food that you have previously chilled in the fridge. Place the cooler on the floor of your car, away from the sun, preferably near the rear air conditioning vents, if available. Ensure good air circulation around the cooler. PLEASE NOTE THE WARNINGS in the instruction manual. Switch off the cool box and disconnect it from the mains before switching the vehicle engine on or off. Management really advises you to do this. Read and pay attention. Why do you think it's ok to leave it plugged in and on every time you turn the engine on and off? I've also seen claims of overheated wires or connectors. Another scammer. Do not leave the 12V plug or converter wires coiled and secured with small plastic rivets. If you do this you will create a heating coil as the current flows through the wire and of course it will heat up! Keep all cables free. Just be smart. IF USED INTELLIGENTLY, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT. We have no hesitation in giving him our highest recommendation.
