Day 3 stopped connecting to the MacBook

The monitor is big and beautiful, but despite the other reviews here, my monitor suddenly stopped connecting to my MacBook Air after three days - it has the most incessant beeping when it goes into sleep mode! Ears are annoying - and although I've spoken to Revain customer service and LG customer service, we couldn't get them to recognize each other after a 90-minute effort. I tried forums and YouTube videos but gave up. To return.
