In my opinion, this radio is a good replacement for a wired radio for a person who is not demanding on sound and listens to one channel. If the task is to often switch strictly between certain channels, then it is better to take a digital one with memory for channels. I find the controls comfortable and responsive, the only thing that interferes is the protruding fork on the left side. It would be more convenient if the wire went out the back. In general, a good radio, but without the WOW effect. Most likely he will register for a permanent position in the city. Comparing with Chinese watches + radio is pointless. The Chinese catch what they can, not what they need. I'll try to find something more sensitive in the village. A solid four with a plus. Minus a star for sound.
