This is a quality product. I don't really like selfie sticks, but I do look at family photos and I'm always behind the camera. I like having one. The construction looks solid. I tried several others and had to send them back. I took it with me on vacation and it didn't let me down. There were a few times that I had to turn bluetooth off and on again to fix the problem, but it might just be my phone as it has been doing things to me and other things. With things like this, you need to make sure it's plugged in and working beforehand. I was able to get some great snaps of my mom and son from a nearby balcony at our hotel with the beach in the background. I couldn't get them any other way. what is my point of view I felt the stick and strap were strong enough to hold my phone without falling out or the stick didn't fall apart when hanging from the hotel roof. No one among us was in danger.
