Snuggly warm, soft cottony-like yarn, stretchy enough for feet with injury or issues, and non-skid on my glossy laminate floors, which is, believe me, a good thing---and they're kinda cute in a whimsy sort of way. If you have cold toes, cold floors, cold drafts, or just want something comfy for tired feet (there's a gentle stretchiness to them)---these work. I would hand-wash them in tepid water if possible, to preserve that softness.
