Seriously, I bought this lamp to better illuminate my miniature drawing area, so neutral light was an absolute must. After stumbling across the Neatfi brand I was immediately intrigued, despite the lack of some "chips" like the ability to change the color temperature, which again isn't an integral part of the color selection craft, so this wasn't an issue. I can say after purchasing the lamp and using it it is bright enough for my needs without any glare like something you would use for recording or photography - for me personally the dim settings were a bit weak but that is rather subjective. I would characterize the light as cold but neutral, it doesn't add a bright hue to the picture's surface, and the LED strips diffuse very well through an opaque light filter, which in turn reduces harsh glare. TL;DR: very pleasing to the eye! I bought the silver color thinking it would be more of a gray based on the advert, but it is actually a true metallic and looks quite classy! Overall I'm very satisfied and I think the price was worth it given the size of the lamp. To be honest it is extremely durable and will not move once articulated. I read in some reviews that people had trouble turning off the lamp without turning off the dimmer and all you have to do is double press the power button and it turns off and saves instantly. the lighting setting you are using. All in all, I highly recommend it!
