Disappointing.

I was so excited to see this product. Like many people, my employer sent most non-essential employees home to work during the COVID emergency. I like my home office, but it's not the most ergonomic place - I never intended to work here full-time and my job is about 95% keyboards. When I saw this monitor stand I thought it would be the solution to my neck and back problems. When it arrived it was easy enough to assemble. The instructions are in pictures rather than text, but if you've ever assembled furniture you won't have too many problems. The dual monitor pan gets my 27" and 30". Monitors close enough to be comfortable working at a reasonable height - although an extra inch on the stand or monitors that could be set a little higher would be very helpful. But the stand itself is uneven. I even double checked my desktop to make sure my desk wasn't that crooked - it wasn't. The monitor stand's design is flawed, and even without monitors mounted on it, it's really uneven; The weight of the monitors pushes the side extensions up and away from the center panel, further compounding the problem. The two sides slope up toward the center, resulting in the screens being placed at an unacceptable angle, rather than leveling the entire structure. Very, very annoying. I used heaps of sticky wool pads to make the shelves almost straight - not exactly successful. See photos. I' ended up having stacks of varying amounts of pillows under the corners of the monitor stand and under the monitors themselves and still not quite level. It works, but seems like another "you get what you pay for" example. I do not recommend this product and will not buy it again.
