I didn't know that. Each picture of this product also shows the charging box. I think I should have read the description a little better. It is at least still used as a case for my wife's diabetes testing device, but not what I expected. Well lesson learned in RTFP (read full page) **EDIT** Wife says case is good and she keeps her diabetes monitor, strips and lancets decent and happy with it as travel bag. So the silver lining to my misinterpretation is that it can still serve a good function.
