This is probably one of the best devices I've ever bought. I actually bought this for my bedroom to help sleep and I loved the northern lights idea and thought it would actually look amazing. Long story short all three of my kids want one now because the light show is awesome! They have pictures of my favorite color combo, but there is a cyclic setting and you can have up to 3 colors at a time (red, blue, green, white and whatever colors you get when you mix them). The remote controls are very easy to operate without inhibitions and I can even work from my bed. Several different sound settings to choose from, and with a Bluetooth connection you can easily play music from your phone. These lights can vary from very bright to dim over time and can be controlled with a remote control. I prefer lighter colors when I'm meditating or relaxing, but dim them completely when I'm going to bed. It's also easy to change the speed or even stop the lights moving completely. The timer function works like a charm and I love that it's USB plugged in so you can stick it anywhere. I'm not a big fan of stars, but they're easy to turn off. Overall I really like this projector and it's becoming a part of my nightly sleep routine, not to mention it really makes the room absolutely magical! Definitely recommend.
