Review on North Face Thermoball Insulated Jacket Outdoor Recreation in Outdoor Clothing by Junrey Jewel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The jacket I was looking for

The perfect winter coat for the Midwest. I'm in Chicago and this coat is perfect. Not bulky at all, but seemingly physically defiantly warm and windproof. Walking in 40 degrees, be it next to a lake with a strong icy wind, the only thing that felt cold was my face. Then inside, the coat allowed me to breathe without overheating and without having to take my jacket off. The coat itself fits like a glove (for reference, the small coat is 5ft 9in and 155lbs), the sleeve length is perfect, the hem is fitted but not constricting the chest. while the slim fit leaves room for layering. As a bonus, the cost doesn't weigh anything at all, my keys weigh more than the coat itself. I'll update again as soon as I experience sub-zero temperatures, but I have no doubt this will suit me all winter. Do not hesitate and get this jacket today. Final mention: I have a cutter and sideburns jacket, which is lightweight but not nearly as warm, and a durable North Face parka, which is surprisingly warm but not as versatile (rather bulky and warm for indoor use)

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style
