Update: now that the strong chemical smell is gone I carry it with me every day. The chain is awesome! I usually wear it on my shoulder, but when I'm running a distance or doing a quick shopping spree I wear it on my shoulder. I love soft, buttery-smooth leather and would have a hard time going back to regular leather wallets. First review: I bought the navy blue sheepskin last year (and loved it) and when I saw that they had a shoulder strap/chain I was glad as sometimes I need my hands free while shopping. I bought and received a black shoulder chain bracelet yesterday (2/2/21) and it smells very strongly of chemicals. My husband hardly smells anything but he asked what the smell was. Dark blue smelled like the skin I love. Black is as luxuriously soft and amazing as navy blue. What has changed? Will the smell go away and if so, for how long? If this doesn't happen, unfortunately I have to send it back. Please report a significant quality change between last year and this last year? Does that have something to do with different colors? Is it a different process? I love the bag so I want to know if the smell will be temporary or permanent. It would be great to smell leather again.
