The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

Moved from 4770K to 10700K. A good stone in general, but perhaps a passable one. The main reason for the upgrade is a hackintosh that is close in performance to a 2022 iMac 27" with the same gem. The next macs will probably no longer be on Intel, so this seems to be the last "civilian" gem suitable for hackintosh.

Given the not so big increase in productivity over 7 years, this will probably be enough for the same amount, if not more.

Pros

Pretty fast, not very hot in stock (under NH-D15) even under load, and I haven’t needed overclocking yet, the performance is enough for my tasks (XCode and recent games under Windows).

Cons

- As such, the 10700K is still a stub 10900K with two idle cores, and the overclocking potential strongly depends on which cores in the crystal do not work. Maybe I haven't followed processor building for a long time, but the transition to the "first grade, second grade" system seems to me like a downgrade to the level of the vegetable market. - Whether it is connected with the processor or with my motherboard, but Display Port does not work at all for me, and HDMI works and the video core itself is detected without problems. I think it's still a motherboard issue. And in general, compared to the seven-year-old 4770K, the performance gain is not so drastic as to feel these seven years of “progress”.
