This hydration pack is life-changing. Honestly. Don't take the Camelback bs if you're serious about hiking with this backpack or doing anything outdoors. The Molle webbings are strong and durable and can easily accommodate extra weighted pouches. An insulated snorkel with a shut-off valve is great for hiking, because when you need to morph your body into weird angles, there's nothing worse than getting wet from a leaking mouthpiece. Separate compartments are great. I have never had a hydrator that fits snugly against my back without moving and moving with me. I usually hike with an axe, bear spray, first aid and snacks because living in Alaska you never know what type of wildlife you may encounter or accidentally stray off the trail. This backpack keeps the bear spray securely attached to the bag with molle webbing carabiners, so being able to slide off the bag is great if old Blackie decides I'm getting too close. The memory foam in the shoulder pads is (thin) but BREATHABLE. The only downside and suggestion I would make for this bag would be if the buckles were metal standard quick release buckles. In one of the car door incidents, one of my black plastic belt buckles broke. Otherwise the quality of this bag may suffer.
