I've used this style of belt before, but the previous one i owned had a strange clamping mechanism that often got caught on things, loosening it. That mechanism finally snapped so I had to buy a new belt. I'm so glad I found this. When I received it, I was excited to find that the clamping mechanism was different. It no longer catches on anything! I will always buy this style belt for the freedom it allows even if it has the former mechanism that this one doesn't have (though I would probably give that one a 4 star rating because of the mechanism).
