3 inch footpegs! My terrible stock passenger footpegs are at least 4 inches long. My boots are 5 inches wide. Why are the footrests only 3 inches long?

Pins are only 3 inches long. The shifter rod is too long, so the shifter tilts up and upshifting is almost impossible. The installation instructions are terrible. The information in the directions is incorrect. The screw sizes in the manual are incorrect. All in metric units. My emergency tool kit will not work with any equipment. If I didn't need checks for the trip I would return Mods, don't buy this.
