Better with apple watch

Just a first impression review - received today. Like many of you, I've spent hours reading reviews and searching YouTube for information. Among the various in-ear headphones, many reviewers seem to see little value in bone conduction glasses in the $130-$200 price range. Also mixed reviews for brands like VocalSkull in the $100 range. But many of them have touch functions on the temples - swipe to skip tracks, tap to answer a call, etc. These glasses DO NOT have these functions. There is only one desktop - one button. Press and hold Siri, long press to pair, long press to turn off. Siri activation is not transmitted over the microphone - the phone must be within earshot. I had moderate expectations for $59, which were mostly met. I would say the sound is good. The geek factor is that ambient music plays out of the glasses. The mids are good, the vocals are quite clear, the bass is normal but weaker. Calling sounds good. The caller told me my voice sounds as good as a car radio or an Apple Watch call. The result is an elegant lifehack - using sunglasses with a watch. You can connect the glasses directly to the watch to play saved music from the watch. Or as long as the phone is within reach (in a pocket or bag), access to Siri or music controls on the watch worked fine, if the glasses are "dumb speakers". It would have been nice to have more controls on the goggles, but for half the price the watch is a "trick" I can live with. Oh, and "Hey Siri" (which I never use) works well too. as long as your phone hears you directly. She listens on the phone but wears glasses. "Hey Siri, 66% volume, for example, works great. The included sunglasses are simple, clean and beautiful. The red tint on the lenses is cool and seems to go along with the already well-known fact that these sunnies make music. When I look at other models, I'm happy with how thin the arms are. With or without a head, her profile really can pass for regular wayfarer-style sunglasses. No bulk factor on temples like some others. Tried on at night, burning music only for an hour. No reports of lens tint/tint quality or battery life. Oh, another reviewer commented that the dual display is blinking and distracting. You were right. About 0.75 inches from the right inner temple, there is a blue flash about every 8 seconds. I think a piece of tape or a dab of paint might fix it, but damn designers. Come on! I bought them for the beach. I expect her request to be pleasantly granted: some music, a few waves and still the sound of beer cans being opened fffsssstttt. Damn designers. Come on! I bought them for the beach. I expect her request to be pleasantly granted: some music, a few waves and you can still hear beer cans being opened fffssssttt. Damn designers. Come on! I bought them for the beach.
