I have suffered from blisters for a long time. Every time I play a set or two of tennis I get ugly blisters on the balls of my feet from all the stops and starts. I don't know why I haven't done this before, but I've googled how to prevent blisters and read that if you can reduce or eliminate the friction between the skin of your feet and the insole of your shoes, that's the one underneath emphasize reduced. I was a bit skeptical at first and wondered if I would mind if my foot slipped (albeit a little) in my shoes, but I found the smooth texture very comfortable and I haven't gotten a blister on the ball of my foot since. I've played about 8 sets of tennis since I bought them and the patch seems to be holding up pretty well. The glue didn't come off for me (I followed the instructions which tell you to put your shoes on immediately after applying the patch to apply pressure and heat to the glue joint). I love this product and I give it 5 stars. If only it wasn't so damn expensive. It's just a smooth piece of plastic with tape on the back.
