Yes if you take pictures outside and walk a lot

Pretty much what you see in the video. I'm happy with it and have used it a lot because carrying a camera with a large lens can take a lot out of my hands, wrists and back. The bigger the camera, the more effort it takes to shoot and record, but the idea is pretty smart. With smaller cameras like in the video, everything works as advertised. Any lens larger than 400mm on your camera probably won't work as well as it's too long and hanging too low. The pull speed is slower with a large lens than with much smaller lenses. They have a strap to attach the lens to the vest to keep the long lens from wobbling, but of course that doesn't show in the picture. Video. This strap is useful in certain circumstances, e.g. B. if you do a lot of climbing on a mountain hike. I highly recommend using a second strap that attaches to your camera. The length is long enough not to restrict your movements and if you drop the camera you will be very glad to have it attached. This has happened to me at least twice. Two "bones" should be picked. Four stars out of five explanation. The former is probably unavoidable due to the design, but when carrying a camera with a longer lens it's possible to crouch and lean slightly to lift the camera out of the "holster" slot. This has happened to me at least twice, on both occasions the strap securing the camera to the vest kept my camera and lens from falling to the ground. One such incident was when I was riding my bike wearing a vest with a camera and telecommunications device attached. The second is a detachable (firms?) part that attaches to the bottom of the camera (btw it has to be removed if you want to put the camera on a tripod) which consists of three parts, two smaller ones (bolt and gasket) that are not attached and are easily lost when removed. You'll need to hold all three pieces together (in a location other than a temporary pocket). Maybe in a camera bag in a bag? My constructive criticism is that the small soft washer/spacer is designed to fit the hole. So when you loosen the small screw, be careful not to lose the washer/spacer as it will not stay in the slot and could fall out and possibly be lost. This happened to me and I went to a hardware store and replaced it with a flexible round rubber grommet of the correct diameter that expands as the screw is pulled out and therefore grips the sides of the slot in the camera mount. Small pieces are the scourge of humanity. lol. A separate Allen key is required and included, but can also be easily lost. You have to be careful where you put the wrench (maybe in your pocket if you're lucky). I would suggest keeping the wrench on the back of the vest as it can't fall out. from there. The front pocket is too loose to attach an Allen key when putting the vest on and off (and tossing it in the back seat of a car). LOL Even with a large lens on your camera you can't fit much in the front center pocket as it will interfere with the alignment of the camera and lens with the slot that connects your gear to the vest.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Makes me angry
