Review on πŸ’ Panasonic Women's Electric Shaver ES2207P - 3 Blade Cordless Razor with Pop-Up Trimmer, Close Curves, Wet Dry Operation, Independent Floating Heads by Tammy Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price even after 18 months - only gracious to the foil!

This cute little razor certainly doesn't give the same perfect shave as a decent razor with a good shaving cream, but with a little care, slowly stroke over the skin and twice over the hardest areas I can get my legs nice smooth and my armpits look as good as they will look at my age. The double-sided cleaning brush (with long, soft bristles on one end and short, hard bristles on the other end) makes cleaning easier. To be honest I wasn't sure I'd be happy with a cheap electric razor after using Venus five blade razors for decades and I'm sure there are a lot better ones out there but in between a low price and the ability to shave at any time. , waste less hot water and feel complacent because you saved a TON on blades and quality shaving cream. I am very happy with my purchase. Tip if you're switching from a standard razor: be sure to press down on the foil. on your skin, not on the trimmer or the edge of your head. It took me a few shaves to realize that the rough results I was getting initially were due to my lifelong habit of tilting one side of the razor towards my leg, but I played around with the angles a bit and found, that laying the foil flat was as close to my skin as possible and if you move the razor slowly enough you get the best shave. I don't use it in the shower because it doesn't work any better or worse than dry, so I can't attest to how well it works wet. I was concerned about the battery after reading some of the negative reviews. but it has taken a year and a half and I can easily shave my slightly hairy legs and armpits twice before the blades slow down. I fully charge it 24 hours after it runs out because the manufacturer recommends it and if for any reason I decide to use the shaver for a week or two I fully charge it before using it again use. I've never had any skin catching or hair pulling β€” at least not until last week, when my thumb slipped off while I was distracted while brushing my head and the slide almost got pushed out of the frame. I was able to pry up the foil with a small sewing needle and pull most of its edge back under the frame so it still works fine, but since the foil is wrinkled and has gaps around the edges now, it has a little bit of a hair on it caught . once per shave. Turns out Panasonic sells a replacement foil for less than $10 with free shipping, but at the current Revain price, a new razor is only $5 more expensive, so I buy another and keep the old one in case the new one breaks. any problem. Conclusion: A highly recommended solution for those who are not inclined to spend a fortune on a fancy razor.
