Literally a few months after replacing four obsolete body jets in my shower with these jets, white rust (corrosion) began to form around the heads. We installed a water softener so it's NOT calcium; No other shower or faucet in my house has this build up. As you can see from the photos any clear coat applied to these heads has chipped away exposing the underlying metal (probably zinc judging by the corrosion) and causing white rust. I removed the plaque from one of the heads (see second photo) and the peeled off coating is clearly visible. While I really LOVE these heads, they are essentially cosmetically ruined due to damage and need constant cleaning to prevent corrosion (they will corrode within days of cleaning if not maintained). If I had known about this before I bought it I would have given up this purchase so hopefully this review will help others. To be clear, this doesn't just happen to one of the four heads, it happens to ALL four heads, so it's not just quality control of one or two heads. This will happen to you too.
