I actually got this for my Fur Baby. He is so afraid of Thunder when it rains. He hasn't always been but he is now for some reason. He would actually disappear under the bead before the rain and thunder ever started. He knew it was going to storm before it actually started. He would keep hiding under the bed. I got this Glowing Dinosaur, thinking that he would feel comforted. See, he has a small squeaky ball that we keep on the top of the lamp and he loves it.his favorite toy. I got the glowing Dinosaur hoping he would feel kind of safe because of the glow. He sleeps next to it now. It's a good 14 inches tall and really adorable and it really does glow all over. Cute expression on his face and he absorbs just regular light in the room. You don't have to keep him in a saturation of light like a lot of glow toys. It glows longer and brighter if you keep him in the direct light for a long time but just having your lamp and the t.v. on will make him glow. Anyway, I just wanted to share with you guys in case your little fur baby is afraid of "The Thunder Monster!" I would do anything for my little guy. Maybe this will work for your little one too.
