Update: 25.03. It's solid, but his iPad keeps falling out if he falls or if he accidentally bumps into something while walking. It's time to look for another case. My son got it for Christmas so I can't comment on durability yet. We had a different size case from the same company so I expect the same 10+ year durability. The old one is still in such good condition that we just upgraded the iPad.
