Despite the pantry doors being open, my pantry wasn't as light as it should be. The room is 7 feet high and 8 feet long. I placed two lights on the ceiling and one at each end. They must be positioned so that the light enters the room and the eye does not see the streak of light - too bright and sharp to look into the forehead. I've been wearing them for a few days now and I love them. The sensor is arranged in such a way that the light only turns on when you move around in the pantry. The reason for the poor visibility is that the lights can be attached with screws or an adhesive bracket. The screws provided were so small that they were useless in drywall and if you want to hang the light at an angle there aren't enough screws. The adhesive works great, but if you need to change batteries or fiddle with the settings, the light has to be pryed off the wall. I doubt the sticky square will continue to work each time you reattach the light to the wall.
